Feras Abu Helal
Feras Abu Helal is a researcher specialising in Middle Eastern affairs.
He holds a Master's Degree in Middle East Politics, Islam, Conflicts and Nationalism from Birkbeck College, University of London.
His studies and reports appear in peer-reviewed Arab research centres, and he writes columns in Arabic and English. He currently works as editor-in-chief of the “Arabi21” news website. He worked as a part-time researcher at Zaytuna Center for Studies and Consultancies in Beirut in 2006 and 2007.
He published a book about Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons and wrote a chapter in a book titled: The Palestinian National Authority: Studies of the Experience and Performance 1994–2013.
