Lena Jayyusi

Lena Jayyusi is Professor in the College of Communication and Media Sciences on the Dubai campus of Zayed University.  Author of Categorization and the Moral Order, she has published works in media and cultural studies, film and visuality, memory and narrative, Palestinian national identity, and the discourses of international law and the Gaza war. She is also a translator of Arabic literature and has published The Adventures of Sayf Bin Dhi Yazan, part translation, part re-telling of an Arab folk epic.
