Code Name: Butterfly

Butterfly is an ordinary teenager living under the extraordinary circumstances of military occupation. She is shrewd and perceptive. That is not enough to deal with the daily turmoil of life under harsh and stressful circumstances. She’s not sure if she can trust her sister, her friends or even her father. After all, doesn't he work for the occupiers? Her mind is in turmoil and bursting with questions she can’t ask anyone around her. She has to find a way to cope with the dilemmas each day throws at her without resorting to the protest and violence her classmates support. Code Name: Butterfly is a story for all teens grappling with friendship, family, adult hypocrisy and emotional storms.
