Dr Daud Abdullah

Dr Daud Abdullah is the Director of Middle East Monitor, our host organisation.

Dr Abdullah served as Deputy Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain from 2006-2010. Dr Abdullah has published several books and articles on Islam and the Palestine Question.

He is the author of A History of Palestinian Resistance. He also contributed to a collection titled Islamic Political Radicalism: A European Perspective (Edinburgh University Press, 2007) and American Foreign Policy & the Muslim World (Beirut, Al Zaytouna Centre for Studies & Consultations, 2009). He is the co-author of a recent publication titled, The universal theology of liberation: views from Muslim history (Islamic Human Rights Commission, London: 2011), as well as authoring several publications by the Middle East Monitor.
