Abduwahid Lulua
Prize-winning author, Abduwahid Lulua, was born in Mowsil, Iraq in 1931. He studied English at Baghdad University, B.A. (Hons.), Harvard, Ed.M. English, and Western Reserve, Cleveland, Ohio, Ph.D. While teaching at seven Arab universities, as well as in Malaysia, he published over sixty books mainly on literary topics, including forty translations into English of Modern Arabic Poetry.
