Ahmad Al-Bazz

Ahmad Al-Bazz (b. 1993) is an award-winning independent photog-rapher, journalist and documentary filmmaker based in Nablus, in the West Bank of Palestine. His work focuses extensively on Palestinian-Israeli affairs. He has made two short documentaries which have received both inter-national and regional awards, including the Al Jazeera Documentary Channel Award and the Alexandria Short Documentary Award. His first feature-length documentary, Donkey Boys, is set to be released soon.
Ahmad’s work has been published in numerous media outlets, including UltraSawt, Red Stream, Mondoweiss, +972 Magazine, The Electronic Intifada, Al Jazeera and Middle East Eye, among others. He holds an MA in Film and Television Studies from the University of East Anglia (UK) and a BA in Media and Mass Communication from An-Najah National University (Palestine). Since 2012, Ahmad has been a member of the Activestills Photography Collective.
