Aida Bamia

Aida Bamia is a Palestinian-American scholar and translator. Her books include The Development of the Novel and the Short Story in Modern Algerian Literature and The Graying of the Raven: the Cultural and Sociopolitical Significance of Algerian Folk Poetry. Her translations include books by Ali Bader, Naguib Mahfouz, Mohammed Achaari and Sahar Khalifeh.
