Blake Alcott

Blake Alcott was born privileged in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1945, got his BA in philosophy in 1968 from Wesleyan U. in Connecticut, did a stint as a hippie, moved to Zürich and became a Swiss citizen, was a self-employed cabinetmaker until 2000, got his MPhil in environmental policy in 2006 from U. of Cambridge, lived 6 years in England, got his PhD in sustainability strategies in 2013 from the U. of East Anglia, lived 6 years in Turkey, and now lives and writes again in Zürich, where he plays a lot of tennis with his wife Özlem
