Carolyn Forché

Carolyn Forché is the author of four books of poetry and editor of two international anthologies. She has translated from Spanish and French, and co-translated (with Munir Akash and Amira El-Zein) Unfortunately It Was Paradise: Selected Poems by Mahmoud Darwish. Her memoir, What You Have Heard Is True: A Memoir of Witness and Resistance, was published by Penguin Press in March, 2019. She is a University Professor at Georgetown University.
