Dr Ibrahim Natil
Dr Ibrahim Natil is a scholar and human rights activist. He is a Research Fellow at Institute for International Conflict Resolution at Dublin City University. He has taught politics, development and business; invited a guest and visiting lecturer and acted as an external examiner to a number of universities. He is the Co-convenor of NGOs in Development Study Group, DSA-UK. He is also the winner of Robert Chamber Best Overall Paper, selected by DSA Ireland (2017). He is the author and editor of a number of books. He is the leading editor of books: Barriers to Effective Civil Society Organisations: Political, Social and Funding Shifts (Routledge, 2020) and the Power of Civil Society in the Middle East and North Africa: Peacebuilding, Change and Development (Routledge, 2019). He writes for Independent Australia and has published several articles and book chapters. He also has worked for many international INGOs and CSOs, managed more than 60 civil society projects since 1997.
