Geoff Daplyn
Geoff is a graduate of Exeter University living in the UK with his wife Sandra. They have five grown-up children, one of whom now lives in the US with his family. He has been in business for much of his life, being a joint venture director at Rank Xerox UK before becoming Managing Partner of Business Partners UK. He now co-manages some property development projects with his wife. He has also been a Trustee and Deputy Chair of a UK charity.
“The Sniper, The Shopkeeper and Sami” is a debut novel sparked off by a visit to Palestine in 2018. He will admit that he found some aspects of what he saw quite provocative witnessing many of the instances he has woven into the book, such as house demolition, IDF harassment and fenced-off Palestinian villages. He follows news from Israel and Palestine closely through JVP and MEM and continuing to lend his support to the Palestinian Movement through the 2021 London marches.
