Mowafa Said Househ
Mowafa Said Househ was born in Edmonton, Alberta. His parents arrived in Canada in the 1970s as Palestinian refugees. Mowafa has a PhD in Health Informatics from the University of Victoria and has worked as a planning and research analyst for the Northern Health Authority in British Columbia, where he observed similarities between the suffering in First Nations and Palestinian communities resulting from the loss of land and family. Mowafa has spent many years travelling between Canada and Palestine and spent a few years of his childhood in Jordan. Currently, he is an adjunct associate professor of health information science at the University of Victoria.
