We, a photographer and reporter, first visited Palestine and Lebanon in 1977 as members of a group of journalists invited by the PLO. Our original photographs and writing convey what we have seen with our own eyes: beginning in 1977, returning to Palestine in 2009, and participating in today’s global movement in solidarity with Palestine, demanding an end to the genocide.

More than 150 black-and-white, color, and ultra-high-resolution panoramic photos document Palestinian life and resistance to Israeli expulsion, occupation, settlement, and apartheid. Yasser Arafat, Abu Iyad, Abu Jihad, the vice president of the General Union of Palestinian Women, and a 1936 general strike participant sit down with us for interviews. Palestinian poet and Nazareth mayor Tawfiq Zayad invites us to a town meeting and a village dinner. Refugees, teachers, doctors, farmers, fishermen, researchers, students, artists, elders, and children share their experiences with us. The photographs impart the dignity of Umm Kamel refusing to leave her makeshift Jerusalem tent; the longing to return, painted into exquisite murals; shat’ha expressions of freedom and attachment to homeland; and much more. Don't miss "We Resist for Siti's Laugh."
