Simo In Gaza Vol.02 is a book that told life story about life of Salama Al-Lad`aa (also known as Simo) who live in Gaza city. In 2022, we started with Simo in Gaza vol.01 that told the story of everyday life in Gaza, such as beach, market, School, Mosque and other ordinary place.

But, after 7th October 2023 Gaza turned become destructive because of non stop bombing & genocide that commit by State of Israel.
Simo in Gaza Vol.02 continue told story about Simo in Gaza in different situation, from beautiful city turned become rubble & from Happiness become sorrow. Simo keep his faith, never give up. escaped from bomb and shooting. Move from various different area to survive with his family and neighbours. Until the day, Simo`s mother passed away because of the Cancer & malnutrition during the genocide in Gaza. Her Mother`s lost become the turning point of his life. This Simo in Gaza Vol.02 also share Simo`s photos from his cellphone with his memory, which we aim to tell the people in the world the truth about what is happen in Gaza.

Me, Andhika Faisal as an co-outhor and producer of Simo in Gaza Vol.01 & 02, I personally work with Simo (mostly by whatsap & Email) for compiled the photos, arrange Simo letter/ text & make design layout to publish this book independently in Tokyo, Japan.
The main aim of releasing this vol.01 & vol.02 book is to spread the awareness of what is happen in Gaza &
also to make donation to support Simo, family, other members & also to fund the Clean Water Project, that Simo build in Gaza.
