E. Mark Windle

E. Mark Windle is a UK-based freelance writer and book author who works in the humanitarian sector. In a former 25-year career as an NHS dietitian, he specialised in the care of patients with critical illness and major burn injury. Mark’s work has been published in the Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Journal of Burn Care and Research, Complete Nutrition and Dietetics Today. The British Dietetic Association also invited him to contribute to the Manual of Dietetic Practice (4th Edition), the core textbook used by the UK profession. Current interests include the exploration of nutrition welfare in Palestine, global health issues and writing for refugee organisations active in the Middle East and North Africa.
